ROBOTICS COURSE FOR CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS

Mechanics, automation, computer science, sensorics, cybernetics – sounds scary, doesn’t it? Nothing could be further from the truth! Robotics, an incredibly interesting field of science, combines features of each of the above. Nowadays, when the development of technology has gained a galloping pace, many new professions are emerging for which it is worth starting to prepare from an early age. With our instructors, the world of programming will become the greatest passion, thanks to which, in the future, your children will be able to fulfil themselves professionally in many technical directions.

What are the robotics classes like?

Thanks to the commitment of our teachers as well as professional and modern equipment, the lessons are conducted in an interesting way and engage every little creator – by combining learning with fun. It is safe to say that robotics – although it sounds complicated – is a more advanced assembling of blocks. Thanks to electromechanical elements, the course participants can breathe ‘life’ into their own constructed robots.
Each class is a separate project to be carried out so that the children learn a project-based approach and feel highly motivated to participate in the activities and education. For each project we brainstorm solutions to tasks. We try to get the children to be open-minded and brave in sharing their ideas and solutions, and as we know, each one is good in its own way!
The building part of the activity, on the other hand, aims to improve the children’s concentration and build up their perseverance and patience. In addition, we work in teams of two, so participants learn teamwork. Meanwhile, the building itself and the use of instructions promotes manual skills and spatial imagination.

What is Krypton 8?

Krypton 8 by Abilix is an educational set offering great possibilities in terms of creating the appearance and programming movements. The whole allows you to create several dozen projects, the construction and programming of which will engage every young constructor. The set has as many as 1551 elements for construction, which allows to create many robots based on one’s own ideas.

Abilix educational robots from the Krypton series allow you to learn programming at different levels. Using them also develops creativity, logical thinking and mathematical skills at any age! The enormous possibilities offered by Abilix robots in the scope of configuring their appearance and programming their behaviour will ensure that playing with them will never get boring. Each robot connects to the application via a built-in Wi-Fi module. Accessible and clear multimedia instructions for operation, building and programming, as well as a friendly design, make the toy suitable even for children aged 3 years!
Krypton 8 is an advanced robot. This huge kit features a powerful and elaborate robot “brain” powered by a dedicated battery, a huge base of different building blocks, many simple and more advanced projects, and lots of possible sensors – even a camera.

The robots have 4 programming languages:

• Abilix DRAG&DROP – Easy and intuitive programming for the youngest
• Abilix SCRATCH – the most popular programming language
• Abilix FLOW-CHART – for intermediate users
• C++ for advanced users (available on PCs).

Class schedule

Na naszym kursie każdego traktujemy indywidualnie iz sercem. Zajęcia odbywają się w określonych grupach wiekowych. Uczestnicy podzieleni są na dwuosobowe zespoły. Każda drużyna otrzymuje na czas zajęć najnowszego robota dostępnego na rynku Krypton 8, gruby, indywidualny notes z instrukcjami, które będą pomocne podczas zajęć oraz komputer.
Po zbudowaniu danego wariantu robota, pod czujnym okiem instruktora, następuje najbardziej fascynująca część – programowanie.
